 Chickpea Wraps - Vegan Anatolian Nohut Durum


  • Canned Chickpeas (500gr)
  • Tomato Paste (1.5 Tablespoon)
  • Olive Oil (4 Tablespoon)
  • Paprika Powder (1 Teaspoon)
  • Black Pepper (1 Teaspoon)
  • Cummin (2 Teaspoon)
  • Salt (1 Teaspoon)
  • Lavashes or Tortilla Shells

For Salad:

  • Tomato (2 Piece)
  • Lettuce (10 piece)
  • Onion (1 piece)
  • Olive Oil (2 Tablespoon)
  • Apple Cider Vinegar (1 Tablespoon)
  • Lemon Juice (1 Tablespoon)
  • Salt (1 Teaspoon)

How to Make Chickpea Wraps Vegan? - Anatolian Famous Vegan Nohut Durum Wraps (Recipe)

  1. Add chickpeas in food processor. (Not process well. We don't need chickpea paste)
  2. Add olive oil and tomato paste in pan. Roast while stirring.
  3. Add chickpeas in pan then add paprika powder, salt, black pepper, cummin. Stir well.
  4. Roast while stirring until tomato paste and chickpeas get together.
  5. Chop fine, tomato, lettuce and onion in bowl.
  6. Add olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and salt. Stir well. Salad is ready!
  7. Take Lavash then add chickpea mixture and salad. (as much as you like)
  8. Chickpea Wraps are ready!
