Red Lentil Soup - Vegan Anatolian Traditional Soup for Breakfast
Ingredients:
- Red Lentil (200ml - 1 Water Cup)
- Onion (1 Piece)
- White Flour (1 Tablespoon)
- Carrot (1 Piece)
- Tomato Paste (1 Tablespoon)
- Salt
- Black Pepper (1 Teaspoon)
- Cummin (Half Teaspoon)
- Hot Water (1 Liter)
- Olive Oil or Sunseed Oil (1 Tablespoon)
Ingredients for sauce:
- Olive Oil or Sunseed Oil (2 Table Spoon)
- Paprika Powder (2 Teaspoon)
How to Cook Red Lentil Soup? Vegan Anatolian Cuisine Quick (Recipe)
- Chop the onion.
- Add olive oil and chopped onions in pot.
- Roast onions until it get pinkish color.
- Add flour in pot and roast more (3 min)
- Add tomato paste in pot.
- Chop carrot as cubic shapes.
- Wash lentils in water, drain washing water.
- Add lentils in pot.
- Add 1L hot water then stir well.
- Put lid of and boil until carrots and lentils get soft.
- After carrots get soft, mix with Hand Mixer in pot.
- Add black pepper, salt, cummin and paprika powder then stir.
- Soup is ready! Lets make sauce for top of it. Add olive oil and paprika powder in sauce pan.
- Cook sauce in very high heat. (1min)
- Add soup in bowl then add little bit sauce top of it.
- Serve with lemon. Eat hot!
