 Stuffed Grape Leaves Roll - Sarma Anatolian Traditional Vegan Meal

Ingredients:

  • Pickled Grape Leaves (how much do you want)
  • Olive Oil (10 Tablespoon)
  • Rice (400ml - 2 water cup)
  • Hot Water (200ml - 1 Water Cup)
  • Onion (3 Pieces)
  • Tomato Paste (1 Tablespoon)
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Dried Mint
  • Paprika Powder
  • Lemon 3-4 Slices

How to Cook Stuffed Grape Leaves? Vegan Anatolian Traditional (Recipe)

  1. Chop Onions.
  2. Roast onions with 5 tablespoons of olive oil until it gets pinkish color
  3. Add rice and roast more (3-5 minutes)
  4. Add salt, black pepper, dried mint, paprika powder and stir.
  5. Add hot water and cook until it absorbs all water.
  6. Our stuffing is ready!
  7. Wash grape leaves.
  8. Boil hot water in another pot.
  9. Add grape leaves in pot one by one. (5 minutes for all leaves)
  10. Take grape leaves from pot.
  11. Lay 5 grape leaves bottom of pot.
  12. Take leaves one by one and add 3/4 of tablespoon stuffing inside the leave.
  13. Roll the leave!
  14. Add all rolls in pot vertically
  15. Add hot water in pot until water reaches the vertical roll level.
  16. Add 3-4 Lemon slices top of the rolls.
  17. Add Porcelen Plate top of the rolls.
  18. Cook in medium heat. (30-35 minutes.)
  19. Grape Leave Rolls are ready!
  20. Serve it hot or cold.
Enjoy it!

You can eat Ice Cream after it.
