Wheat Patty - Traditional Vegan Anatolian Cig Kofte
Ingredients:
- Fine Cracked Wheat (Koftelik Bulgur) - (500ml -2.5 Water Cup)
- Hot Water (300ml - 1.5 Water Cup)
- Anatolian "Black Isot" Pepper or Red Pepper (1 Teaspoon)
- Olive Oil (100ml - 1 Tea Cup)
- Hot Paprika Powder (3 Tablespoon)
- Tomato Paste (1 Tablespoon)
- Paprika Paste (2 Tablespoon)
- Pomegranete Syrup (4 Tablespoon)
- Salt (1 Teaspoon)
- Grated Onion (1 Piece)
- Lemon Juice (From 1 Lemon)
How to make Wheat Patty? Vegan Cig Kofte Anatolian Traditional Mount Nemrut Appetizer (Recipe)
- Add fine cracked wheat in large bowl.
- Add hot water in large bowl.
- Stir inside the bowl.
- Wait until wheat get absorb all the water
- Squeeze the grated onion. (Get rid of the extra water)
- Add all ingredients in food processor then start.
- When it gets paste consistence, take it from processor to bowl.
- Make kofte shape with your hand.
- It is ready! serve it with fresh lettuce.
