Stuffed Green Pepper - Vegan Traditional Anatolian Food Biber Dolmasi
Ingredients:
- Olive Oil (100ml - 1/2 Watercup)
- Onion (2 Pieces)
- Tomato Paste (1 Tablespoon)
- Rice (300ml - 1.5 Watercup)
- Green Pepper (10 Pieces)
- Hot Water (2 Watercup)
- Tomato (1 Piece) (To put top of the peppers)
- Salt (2 Teaspoons)
- Dried Peppermint (2 Tablespoons)
- Black Pepper (1/2 Teaspoon)
How to Cook Stuffed Green Pepper - Vegan Anatolian Delicious Healty (Recipe)
- Chop onions finely.
- Add olive oil in pot.
- Add chopped onions in pot.
- Add tomato paste in pot and stir well.
- Wash rice and drain all water.
- Add rice in pot, then stir and roast. (2-3 Mins)
- Add salt, black pepper, peppermint and stir one more time.
- Add 2 watercup of hot water and cook 7-8 minutes. Rice should not be fully cooked
- Cut top part of the green peppers.
- Stuff rice mixture inside the green peppers.Rice will swell, not stuff fully.
- Add cutted tomato parts top of the green peppers like hat.
- Put black peppers in pot vertically.
- Add water until half level of the pot.
- Pour just a little bit of olive oil inside the pot, then turn the lid off.
- Cook 35 minutes with medium heat. Rice should be absorb all the water.
- Stuffed green pepper is ready!
