 Stuffed Squash Blossoms - Vegan Anatolian 


  • Squash Blossoms (25 Pieces) 
  • Rice (1 Watercup)
  • Onion (1 Piece Medium Size)
  • Tomato (1 Piece Medium Size)
  • Olive Oil (Half of tea glass)
  • Blackcurrant (1 Tablespoon)
  • Pine Nut (1 Tablespoon)
  • Dill (Half of Bunch)
  • Fresh Mint (6 Branch)
  • Powdered Sugar (1 Teaspoon)
  • Lemon Juice (1 Tablespoon)
  • Pimento (1 Teaspoon)
  • Black Pepper (1 Teaspoon)
  • Salt (2 Teaspoons)

How to Cook Stuffed Squash Blossoms? Traditional Anatolian Cuisine

     1. Let's clean the inside of squash blossoms.
     2. Then let's dip the cleaned squash blossoms in water and let it soak.
     3. Let's wash and strain the rice.
     4. Peel the onion and chop finely.
     5. Pour half the olive oil into a pot and put it on the heat.
     6. Put the onions on the heated oil and roast until they turn pink.
     7. Add blackcurrant, pine nut and rice on top and contiuned roast.
     8. Then peel the tomatoes and grate them in the pot. 
     9. Finely cut the dill and fresh mint. 
    10. Add lemon juice, pimento, black pepper, powdered sugar and salt to the pot mix and blend and roasted once or twice.
    11. Let's get it from the heat and wait for it to warm.
    12. Then fill the squash blossoms inside.
    13. Let's put a heat-resistant plate on the bottom of a suitable pot and arrange the stuffed squash blossoms on the plate.
    14. Then let's pour the remaining olive oil over the stuffed.
    15. Add half of glass of hot water to it.
    16. Let it cook for 20 minutes on the low heat and let it cool down and serve it.
