 Spinach Pie-Anatolian Vegan Breakfast 


  • Phyllo (3 Pieces)
  • Spinach (400 Gr cleaned)
  • Olive Oil (1 Tablespoon)
  • Onion (1 Piece)
  • Olive Oil (For the Top)

How to cook Spinach Pie? Traditional Anatolian Vegan Borek Recipe

  1. Finely chop the washed and picked spinach.
  2. Put the olive oil in the heated pan and roast the onions until they turn pink.
  3. Add the spinach and saute until it drains, then turn off the heat and leave to warm.
  4. Cut the dough into a triangle in 8 pieces.
  5. Add about 1.5 tablespoons of spinach mixture into the dough and wrap.
  6. Apply olive oil to the dough we put on the baking tray.
  7. Bake in a preheated 100 degree oven for 20 minutes and serve warm.
