  • Vegan Margarine (4 Tablespoons)
  • Semolina (1 Watercup)
  • Granulated Sugar (1.5 Watercup)
  • Water (3/4 Watercup)
  • Vegan Milk (1 Watercup)
  • Cinnamon (2 Teaspoons)

How to cook Semolina Halva? Traditional Anatolian Vegan Dessert

  1. Firstly, transfer sugar, vegan milk and water into a small pot.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the water and milk are slightly warmed. When it reaches the proper temperature and consistency, turn off the heat.
  3. Take the vegan butter in a separate pot and melt it.
  4. Add the semolina and roast until the color turns and the consistency becomes darker.
  5. Mix the syrup you have prepared on it by pouring it gradually. Then leave it to cook over medium heat with the lid closed.
  6. After cooking in this way and seeing that the syrup has been drawn, let it brew for 20 minutes with the lid closed. Before serving, add cinnamon, mix well and serve.
